Genetic Testing for Psychiatric Medications at ClearTMS+
GeneSight®, Genomind®, Tempus™

Pharmacogenetic testing is an advanced tool that helps personalize mental health treatment by providing insights into how your unique genetic makeup may influence your response to medications.

At ClearTMS+, we utilize leading pharmacogenetic testing platforms, including Genomind®, Tempus™, and GeneSight®, to help guide medication selection and treatment planning. These tests can identify genetic factors that may affect medication effectiveness, tolerability, and metabolism, helping reduce the trial-and-error process often associated with psychiatric medication management.

By understanding how your body processes certain medications, our providers can make more informed treatment recommendations, potentially improving outcomes and minimizing unwanted side effects. Pharmacogenetic testing may be particularly helpful for individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, or other mental health conditions who have had difficulty finding effective treatment.

Many insurance plans provide coverage for pharmacogenetic testing, making this innovative approach accessible to a wide range of patients.

ClearTMS+ is committed to providing evidence-based, personalized mental health care by integrating cutting-edge technology and precision medicine into our treatment approach, helping you achieve the best possible outcomes on your path to wellness.

The testing process is quick and non-invasive.
During your visit, a sample is collected using a simple cheek (mouth) swab. We then send the sample, along with your insurance information, directly to the laboratory for analysis. The laboratory is responsible for verifying insurance coverage and billing your insurance plan for the testing. Results are typically available within a few weeks and are reviewed with your provider to help guide medication selection and treatment planning. By understanding how your body may respond to certain medications, pharmacogenetic testing can help support a more personalized and effective treatment approach.
